BEL Announces $1.02 Billion In Turnover For 2013-14

India’s Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) today announced that it has ended the financial year
2013-14 with a record $1.02 billion in turnover (provisional).
 
In 2012-23, BEL registered $1 billion in profits, the company said in a statement. “It achieved exports worth US $41.70 million in 2013-14, registering a growth of 27.21 per cent over the previous year’s export turnover of US $32.78 million."
 
With a healthy order book of around $3.8 billion, the company is all set to continue its good run in the next financial year, the statement added.
 
Some of the significant orders executed during the year include Weapon System for the Indian Air Force and Indian Army, Central Acquisition Radar, Low Level Light Weight Radar, Shipborne Electronic Warfare System, Low Intensity Conflict Electronic Warfare System, Missile Warning System, Passive Night Vision Devices and Electronic Voting Machine.
