CACI International Inc has secured a $21 million task order contract to support data networks for the U.S. Army Product Director (PD) Initialization, which provides data products to support network operations and connectivity for the U.S Army.

The contract will entail CACI to provide business, logistics and engineering services to the U.S. Army. The support services will include research and engineering development, prototyping, demonstrations and integration of products and software.

With the requisite support of CACI, the networking system will be much more effective and automotive and the emerging network interoperability technologies will enable the troops to fulfill their missions safely. Also, the ongoing effort enhances tactical communications among army units.

CACI has a large pipeline of new projects and continues to win deals at regular intervals. These back-to-back contract wins are the key catalysts driving success for the company.

With this contract, CACI is expected to expand in the C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) market and augment its revenues. CACI's broad-based C4ISR capabilities focus on quality and affordability with cost-effective solutions, the company said in a statement.
