Raytheon, Thales/MBDA Short-listed In Polish Missile System Tender

Poland considered an association of Thales and European MBDA alongwith Raytheon for its mid-range missile defense system worth $5 billion, the defense ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Israeli government and MEADS consortium led by Lockheed Martin were excluded from the bids in the tender.Thales/MBDA is offering the Aster 30-SAMP/T and Raytheon is bidding its Patriot air defense system.
