CAE will upgrade existing SH-2G (I) Full Mission Flight Simulator (FMFS) and SH-2G (I) part task simulator and SH-2G (I) Part Task Trainer (PTT) of the New Zealand Defense Force (NZDF) as part of the contracts it won Today, the company announced during the New Zealand Defense Industry Association (NZDIA) annual forum.

The contract is a part of the NZDF comprehensive acquisition of ten SH-2G(I) helicopters from Kaman Corporation. Following delivery of the SH-2G(I) synthetic training devices to Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Base Auckland in Whenuapai, CAE will provide through-life support and maintenance services for 15 years.

"We are pleased to extend our relationship with the New Zealand Defense Force following contracts earlier this year in support of New Zealand's T-6C Pilot Training program and the establishment of CAE New Zealand Pty Ltd," said Peter Redman, Vice President and General Manager, CAE Oceania.
