The team will be flying the locally made J-10 fighter jets, PLA Air Force spokesman Shen Jinke was quoted as saying in the Chinese media.

Female pilots Yu Xu, Tao Jiali, Sheng Yifei  will be among the team. It will be the first time China's female fighter pilots will have performed abroad, Shen said.

The five-day LIMA show will open next Tuesday. fighter jets from Malaysia, the United States and France are expected to perform.

Malaysia is expected to replace its F/A-18 fight jets and among those aircraft showing off their moves will be the latest Boeing Hornet and the Dassault Rafale. Though the Chinese are not officially in the race, the contest is still open and they may pitch in with the JF-17 fighter made in partnership with Pakistan.
