Afghanistan Uses Weaponized MD-530F Cayuse Warrior Helicopter In Combat For The First Time
Afghan Air Force MD-530F Cayuse Warrior Close Air Attack Helicopter

The Afghan Air Force has used the weaponized MD-530F helicopter Cayuse Warrior helicopter in combat for the first time.

The helicopter was used to support security forces against insurgents in three rural districts in south of Jalalabad.

Equipped with 50-caliber machine guns and armor with ballistic protection the MD-530F, produced by the US MD Helicopters, operated yesterday alongside the Mil Mi-17 transport helicopters provided air force Afghan transaction Iron Triangle. 

"This is the first successful activity of the MD-530 helicopters supplied to the Afghan national defense forces," the NATO mission in Afghanistan Resolute support was quoted as saying in a statement by Agency Nova.
