US Department of Defense has awarded a $995 contract to support US military’s Intelligence and Information Warfare (IIW) to four technology security companies.
The US DoD in a press statement Wednesday said, “The contract will be divided between Adams Communication and Engineering Technology, Eoir Technologies, Praxis Engineering and DHPC Technologies to support the US military’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate.”
Only four proposals were submitted in an online bid for the contract, which is set to expire on May 7, 2018, while funding and work location will be determined with each order, the statement said.
The intelligence and information warfare division of the US military will be developing advanced cyber operations, electronic warfare, radar and signal intelligence technologies. The IIW is part of the US Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC).
