Russian, German Companies Discuss Mine-Detecting Device Development

UTTA Protection Group of Russia and German firm Ebinger are discussing the joint development of a mine-detecting device.

CEO of UTTA Protection Group, Vladimir Tkatch said at the MilPol event in Paris that that the two copanies may jointly develop a cutting-edge mine-detecting device.

"There was a very interesting contact with the German firm Ebinger. There is a specific offer for a joint development of mine detection equipment. We agreed that in the middle of the coming year when we would get the experimental results, we would communicate and clarify mutual technical position to manufacture a joint device," Tkatch was quoted as saying by Sputnik News.

Cologne, Germany based Ebinger specializes in the research and manufacture of mine detection and disposal devices.
