Six Companies Awarded USAF Contracts Worth $538 Million For Tactical and Strategic Systems Support

The US Department of Defense has announced six contractors for a multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth $538 million under the Platform for Engineering and Integration of Tactical and Strategic Systems (PEITSS).

The companies awarded this US Air Force contracts are: BCF Solutions Inc., IGOV Technologies Inc., People Tec Inc., Pelatron Inc., Smartronix Inc., and BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Inc.

The contract awarded is to support delivery of systems and capabilities within the Theater Air Control System and other systems providing tactical and strategic battle management and command and control capabilities, including close air support, surveillance, communications, airspace management, and weapons control, the statement said.

The location of work to be performed will be specified in each delivery order awarded under the terms of the contract. All work is expected to be complete by January 27, 2023, the statement added.
