General Dynamics Wins FMS Contract Worth $169 Million For Hydra Rockets

General Dynamics has won Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract worth $169 million to provide Hydra rockets to Colombia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, India, and Belgium.

“General Dynamics – OTS Inc., Williston, Vermont, was awarded a $169,694,436 modification (P00025) to Foreign Military Sales contract W31P4Q-14-C-0154 (Colombia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, India, Belgium) for Hydra rockets (M151 quantity 80,448; M255a1q: 40,000; M274: 101,952; M278: 3,715; M156: 7,200; Motors Mk66 Mod4: 20,721; Warheads M257: 5,837; M278: 13,741; M156: 4,914),” the US Department of Defense announced Monday. 

Work will be performed in Williston, Vermont, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2019. 

Fiscal 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $169,694,436 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity, the statement added.
