Rosoboronexport To Supply Four VK-2500 Engines, Additional Mi-171E Helicopters To China

Rosoboronexport has signed a contract for the supply of an additional batch of Mi-171E helicopters to the People's Republic of China at the MAKS-2017 International Aviation and Space Salon,

"We signed a contract for the supply of an additional batch of Mi-171E transport helicopters and their property to China. Our partners will receive 4 cars. The contract will be executed in 2018, "said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport Thursday.

The Mi-171E helicopter is a transport version of this type of vehicle supplied by Rosoboronexport. 

"In addition, at MAKS-2017 we signed a contract with the Chinese side to supply four modern helicopter engines VK-2500, which can be installed on Mi-17 helicopters within the framework of remotorization. The delivery of engines will be carried out by us in 2018, "Alexander Mikheev added.
