Lockheed Martin has won over $86 million to manufacture and provide 23 long range anti-ship missiles for the US Air Force.
It can be launched from a US Air Force B-1B bomber.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, has been awarded an $86,499,999 contract modification for long-range anti-ship missile (LRASM) Lot 1 production, the company announced Tuesday.
The contractor will provide 23 LRASM missiles.
The LRASM is uses next-generation guidance technology to track targets such as enemy ships, shallow submarines, drones, aircraft and land-based targets, according to published reports.
