UPC Wins $23.5M To Supply Ejection Seats For USAF B-1, A-10 Aircraft

Universal Propulsion has been awarded a $23.5 million contract for manufacture of the modernized aircraft seat sequencer.

This contract provides for supply of Advanced Concept Ejection Seats II for USAF B-1 and A-10 aircraft. The work is expected to be completed by March 29, 2019, US department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2017 funds in the amount of $23,565,896 are being obligated at the time of award.  Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity.
