Boeing Wins $676 Million to Deliver Six F/A-18E and Eight F/A-18F Aircraft to US Navy

Boeing is being awarded $676.5 million modification contract for the full-rate production and delivery of six Lot 41 F/A-18E and eight F/A-18F aircraft.

Work is expected to be completed in February 2019, US Department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $676,575,190 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Boeing had won a contract in February this year for procurement of seven Lot 40 EA-18G aircraft and associated airborne electronic attack kits and five F/A-18E aircraft which also expires in 2019.
