L-3 Technologies has won a $10.5 million contract to provide a software upgrade and integration of the Canadian CF-18 operational flight program.

This upgrade is being done for the government of Canada under the US Foreign Military Sales program. The work is expected to be completed in November 2021, US Department of Defense said in a statement Tuesday.

The Canadian armed forces’ CF-18 platform was designed to engage aerial and ground targets as well as support air defense, aerobatic demonstration, air superiority, aerospace testing and evaluation, tactical support and training operations.
