Boeing Wins $193 Million Contract for Production of Small Diameter Bombs

Boeing has been awarded a $193.6 million modification contract for Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Increment 1 Lots 12-14 production.

This modification provides for the purchase of an additional quantity of 6,000 SDB 1 all-up-rounds being produced under the basic contract.  The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity ceiling is increasing from $700million to $893.6 million, US department of Defense said in a statement Tuesday.

Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2020. This contract involves foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia, Japan, Israel, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Singapore.
