Elbit Systems Wins $167M to Supply UAS-based ISTAR solution to Asia-Pacific Nation

Elbit Systems has won a $167 million contract from an Asia-Pacific country to supply a comprehensive aerial ISTAR solution.

The contract will be performed over a 20-month period, Elbit Systems announced on Wednesday.

Elbit Systems’ ISTAR Division is an integrated end-to-end Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) solution. Several battlefield functions are linked together to assist a combat force in employing its sensors and managing the information they gather. Integrating the intelligence process with surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance tasks in order to improve a commander’s situational awareness and consequently their decision making is included in the ISTAR solution.
