Sikorsky Wins Contract To Supply 36 Nacelles Production Kits For H-53 Aircraft

Sikorsky has won a $8 million modification contract to supply 36 Nacelles Production Kits in support of the US Navy’s H-53 aircraft.

The Sikorsky S-65 heavy-lift troop transport helicopter has been adopted as the H-53 Sea Stallion. The helicopter can be modified to perform a variety of missions such as search and rescue, Mine Countermeasures (MCM), transport of troops, heavy-lift operations, etc.

Work is expected to be completed in December 2020.
