Huntington Ingalls, 5 Others Win US Navy’s $2.45B C4ISR Systems Contract

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is among the six companies to have won the US Navy’s $2.45 billion contract to provide installation services for their command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

The contract was awarded to HII’s Technical Solutions division, the company announced Monday.

The five-year contract includes providing supporting systems to Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR).

The other companies that are a part of the deal include General Dynamics Information Technology, M.C. Dean, Prism Maritime, Serco and VT Milcom Inc. Seven.

The Navy announced on July 17 that the C4ISR installation services include decommissioning and modernization of existing platforms, as well as design and installation of integrated C4ISR systems and other installation services and material necessary to accomplish NAVWAR C4ISR maintenance, modernization and new system installation.
