Ukraine Moving Military Objects to Civilian Areas: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Ukraine is moving military equipment to civilian areas, and is using people as human shields.

The Russian leader said the “special military operation” in its neighboring country “is proceeding in strict accordance with the schedule, according to the plan.”

“All the assigned tasks are being successfully solved," he said at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Putin claimed "nationalist and neo-Nazi formations” consisting of even “foreign mercenaries, including those from the Middle East,” are hiding behind civilians as human shield.

"Instead of fulfilling their promise and removing this equipment from residential developments, hospitals, kindergartens, they, on the contrary, are additionally transferring tanks, artillery and mortars there," he added.
