Russia says it hit a large Ukrainian warehouse in Razdolovka which was being used to store shells for American M777 howitzers.

Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian defense ministry, said air-launched missiles were used in the operation. The M777 is a 155mm field howitzer produced by BAE Systems. It can unleash Excalibur guided shells and has a 40km effective firing range.

On May 21, the U.S. Department of Defense delivered a new batch of 155 mm M777 howitzers. Two days before that, U.S. President Joe Biden allocated another $100 million package that includes 18 howitzers, 18 tactical trucks to deliver these howitzers and radars.

Missiles were also fired at three command posts, 36 areas of concentration of enemy troops, a self-propelled artillery battalion of the 14th mechanized brigade near the city of Soledar and six ammunition depots in the areas of Minkovka, Bakhmut, Nikolaevka, Disputed and Krasny Liman of the DPR.

The operational-tactical and army aviation managed to hit two command posts, three ammunition depots, 80 troop concentration areas, as well as the Buk-M1 air defense system in the DPR, Konashenkov claimed.
