Military aid is pouring in from all across the world for Ukraine as it fights Russia’s brutal air raids with France, the Netherlands, Canada and the United Kingdom announcing fresh supply of weapons.
On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron was quoted as saying by European Pravda that the country will supply six more Caesar self-propelled howitzers, anti-aircraft missiles and air defense systems to Kyiv. The equipment were to be transferred to Denmark.
Sky News, citing its own sources, reported that France will transfer Crotale short-range air defense systems, capable of intercepting missiles and aircraft at low altitudes, to Ukraine.
Ben Wallace, Secretary of Defense of the United Kingdom, has also pledged to provide AMRAAM missiles for NASAMS air defense systems to Ukraine.
In addition, the U.K. will supply Ukraine with hundreds of missiles for air defense systems of other types, additional drones, and 18 howitzers.
The Netherlands has also confirmed delivery of anti-aircraft missiles worth €15 million for an air defense system it is already transferring Ukraine. While the ministry did not confirm the type of air defense system, it is presumed to be the NASAMS, which is already in service with the Dutch military.
Ukraine will also receive a new $47 million military aid package from Canada which includes winter clothing, artillery shells, and communication technologies.
