Russia Strikes Ukrainian Marines with Sea-launched Missiles

The Russians fired long-range naval missiles to hit reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"Tonight, a concentrated sea-based long-range high-precision weapon was launched against the enemy's reserves," Konashenkov said at a briefing on Thursday.

He added that the “goal of the strike has been achieved” and “all designated targets have been hit.”

Konashenkov said the “deployment of units of Ukrainian Marine Corps to the areas of hostilities has been prohibited.”
