PT Pal Hands Over 2 Fast Missile Ships to Indonesian Navy
The Indonesian Navy celebrated Shipnaming ceremony of the newly delivered 5th and 6th 60m Fast Missile Ship (KCR) delivered by PT PAL Indonesia.
The ships were christened KRI Kapak-625 and KRI Panah-626.
"KRI Kapak-625 and KRI Panah-626 are the first 60 meter KCR projects that are effective in one contract including the construction of the ship platform, installation and integration of the main weapons," explained Kaharuddin Djenod, the CEO of PT PAL Indonesia.
The ships were said to have cleared passed the Commodore Inspection which is the final test by high-ranking officers from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian Navy Headquarters in the April of 2023
