Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, with KSAL Admiral TNI Muhammad Ali, launched TNI hospital ship KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyoningrat-992 from Jakarta for a Goodwill/Port Visit cruise to Egypt, delivering vital humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Minister Prabowo expressed deep concern for the severe suffering faced by the people of Gaza due to attacks surpassing humanitarian limits and violating international law.

"I congratulate you on your duty, and though our nation is not involved in war, we stand in solidarity and bear a humanitarian responsibility towards our brothers in Palestine," Prabowo stated, addressing the departing forces.

Highlighting the significance of vigilance and solidarity in the mission, he expressed confidence in the Task Force Commander and Ship Commander, emphasizing their training, discipline, and enthusiasm for a successful completion of the humanitarian duty.

As KRI dr. Radjiman departs on the Jakarta – Belawan – Al Arisi – Jeddah Batam route, the estimated travel time from departure to return is around 52 days. The humanitarian assistance provided includes food, blankets, clothes, baby equipment, women's clothing, milk, field tents, cleaning supplies, mineral water, and religious equipment.
