NATO Country Orders Rheinmetall’s MLRS 300 km-Range Ammunition Worth €300M
Delivery is to take place from 2024 to 2027.
Rheinmetall has secured an order to provide a European member of NATO with multiple rocket launcher ammunition boasting a 300 km range, along with other systems valued at over €300 million.
The order, confirmed in December 2023, is scheduled for delivery between 2024 and 2027.
The company did not mention the name of the NATO customer, but said it will supply several hundred guided artillery rockets.
Manufacturing and delivery of the rockets, which possess a maximum range of 300 km, will be overseen by Rheinmetall Expal Munitions of Spain. The order extends to cover additional services and various supplementary systems. Notably, this marks Rheinmetall's inaugural foray into rocket artillery sales.
