Northrop Grumman has been awarded $57 million contract for C-RAM system integration

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Sept. 30, 2009 a $57,514,998 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract is for a forward area air defense command and control /counter-rocket artillery and mortar (C-RAM) system integration. The C-RAM project office has a requirement for systems integration to include systems engineering and deployment of the C-RAM system. Work is to be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2010. One sole source bid was solicited with one bid received.
