Raytheon Co., based in Tucson, Arizona, has secured a contract modification valued at $1.195 billion to increase production of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) under an existing agreement.
The modification contract announced today will fund the 38th production lot of AMRAAM missiles, along with additional AMRAAM telemetry systems, spare parts, and engineering support.
The contract, which involves Foreign Military Sales, will provide missiles and related equipment to 12 countries, including Bahrain, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
The production is set to be completed by December 31, 2028, with all work being carried out at Raytheon's Tucson facility.
