Leonardo Signs MoU with Saudi Arabia for Collaboration in Combat Air and Helicopter Fields

Leonardo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia to strengthen cooperation in the combat air and helicopter sectors, expanding their aerospace and defense partnership.

The agreement, announced during bilateral meetings between Italy and Saudi Arabia, was made in the presence of the Kingdom's Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI). This MoU builds on an earlier agreement signed in 2024, focusing on areas such as combat air, helicopter assembly, airframe maintenance, electronic warfare systems, radars, and human capital development.

The expanded collaboration aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s national supply chain, create opportunities in cross-domain integration, and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reforms.
