Diehl Defence GmbH & Co. KG has acquired full ownership of e.sigma Systems GmbH and its subsidiary, e.sigma Technology GmbH, strengthening its portfolio with training and simulation technologies tailored for modern military operations.
The acquisition includes facilities in Munich and Ilmenau, Germany.
e.sigma Systems is recognized for delivering tailored simulation platforms designed to replicate real-world mission scenarios. Its offerings support a wide range of military platforms and command and control systems. Among its flagship products is e.TACCS, a modular command and control platform built for all military branches. The platform supports both localized and cloud-based deployment, enhancing operational flexibility.
Another key solution in e.sigma’s portfolio is KOFA – Advanced Voice Processing System, an AI-enabled communication system. KOFA enables secure, internet-free communications in both military and civilian applications, addressing growing needs for data security and autonomy in mission-critical environments.
For Diehl Defence, the integration of e.sigma's capabilities aligns with its strategic focus on enhancing air defence systems and mission-readiness training.
e.sigma will continue to operate independently, maintaining its brand identity, management, and full product line. Josef Müllner, e.sigma's former managing director, will stay involved during the transition to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
