Kongsberg Joins Poland’s Advanced Protection Systems for New Counter-Drone Partnership

Norway’s Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and Poland’s Advanced Protection Systems have signed a strategic teaming agreement to jointly develop and deliver advanced Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS).

The partnership merges Kongsberg’s air defence experience with Advanced Protection Systems’ FIELDctrl radars and SKYctrl C-UAS technologies, initially focusing on protecting security infrastructure in Poland and Norway, which lie along NATO’s vulnerable eastern flank.

The agreement outlines joint pursuit of C-UAS business opportunities, integration of radar, sensor fusion, command-and-control, and kinetic/non-kinetic responses, along with the exchange of sensitive technical and business knowledge to create systems.
