Saudi statement on Iranian missile attacks

Iran blasted its cordial relations with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain Kuwait and Jordan today when it launched missiles at U.S. bases in these countries.

Several Gulf states announced Saturday the temporary closure of their airspace following the Iranian attacks.Many airlines cancelled flights upto the weekend.

Most of the missiles were intercepted, MoDs of the affected middle-east countries reported while stating that falling debris caused damage to buildings.

One civilian was reported killed from falling debris in Abu Dhabi.

The U.S. Central command is yet to comment on the Iranian missile strikes or the damage it caused to its bases.

Qatar intercepted missiles without damage according to the Qatari Interior Ministry. Kuwait’s KUNA state news agency confirmed missiles were “dealt with” in Kuwaiti airspace. Jordan confirmed two Iranian ballistic missiles shot down by Jordanian military.

None of the mid-east have threatened retaliation against Iran or trained its own missiles against Tehran.
