Denel to supply APC turrets to Malaysia

South Africa's Denel said that Malaysia has confirmed to buy armoured personnel carriers for which the company will supply the turrets. Communications manager Sinah Phochana said Malaysia's defence ministry handed a letter of intent to DRB-Hicom Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd (Deftech) at the Defence Services Asia Expo 2010 last week. "Deftech has in turn handed over a letter of intent to Denel as a technology partner for the joint manufacture of turrets and for the systems integration of the programme".
