URS Corporation today announced that it has been awarded a task order from the Department of Defense to provide maintenance support services for U.S. Marine Corps vehicles and support equipment at locations in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The two-year task order, which was awarded under URS’ Contract Field Teams (CFT) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with the Department of Defense, has a maximum value of $101 million to URS. Under the task order, URS will provide program and financial management, and repair and overhaul services in support of wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles and support equipment. Commenting on the contract, Randall A. Wotring, President of Federal Services for URS, said: “We are pleased to have been selected for this task order, which underscore URS’ expertise in providing an array of maintenance and equipment services to the U.S. Military. We look forward to expanding our relationship with the U.S. Marine Corps with these important awards.”
