Lockheed Martin Wins $20M Contract for JSF from US DoD

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $20,103,000 advance acquisition contract to provide long lead-time parts, material and components required for the delivery of two Low Rate Initial Production Lot VII F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter Conventional Takeoff and Landing aircraft for the government of Norway. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (35 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (25 percent); Warton, United Kingdom (20 percent); Orlando, Fla. (10 percent); Nashua, N.H. (5 percent); and Baltimore, Md. (5 percent). Work is expected to be completed in June 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
