The joint venture will consolidate Sukhoi Civil Aircraft expertise in creation of state-of-the-art aircraft and their subsequent technical support with the current expertise and opportunities of Sberbank Leasing Group in the market of operative leasing with the use of the best world practices.
The Export Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR) and the United Aircraft Corporation signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation which implies development of a special insurance program to cover export credits for Sukhoi Superjets 100 foreign customers. The program is to be updated to the state-of-the-art requirements of the world financial institutions which extend credit programs for Sukhoi Superjet 100 exports.
