Rockwell Collins Appoints New Vice President And Managing Director Of Asia Pacific

Rockwell Collins today announced that James ‘Jim’ Walker has been appointed as vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific.

“Jim brings a unique combination of regional business acumen, geopolitical savvy and seasoned leadership experience to Rockwell Collins,” said Mahoney. “He complements our existing leadership team and brings us valuable perspectives from his extensive business development experience throughout the Asia Pacific region.”

Walker has more than 25 years of aerospace and defense industry experience, including 15 years with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) where he served as Commanding Officer Joint Communications and Deputy Director, Space Intelligence and Communications. Following his career in the Air Force, Walker spent nearly 10 years with the Boeing Company in Australia where he held several leadership positions, including general manager and vice president of the Networked Enabled Systems Business for Australasia and South East Asia. Most recently, he was CEO of AutoCRC Ltd. since 2012, and before that CEO of QMI Solutions Ltd. Both technology companies are based in Australia, with business interests throughout the Asia Pacific region.
