Lockheed Martin Wins $556 Million F-35 Modification For US Armed Forces Contract

Lockheed Martin has won two F-35 modification contracts worth $556 for the US armed forces.

Lockheed Martin in a contract worth $64 million has to modify 14 F-35A air vehicles for the U.S. Air Force (13) and the government of the Netherlands (1), and 13 F-35B air vehicles for the U.S. Marine Corps (11) and the government of the United Kingdom (2). The delivery is expected to complete by the end of this fiscal year. 

Lockheed Martin in another  contract worth $493 million has to provide non-air vehicle spares, support equipment, Autonomic Logistics Information System hardware and software upgrades, supply chain management, full mission simulators and non-recurring engineering services to support Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot VII F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy and international partner. The delivery is scheduled for 2021.
