Cubic Global Defense will showcase the US Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) virtual training program at the 10th Annual Capitol Hill Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Expo in USA on July 9th.

Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Immersive Virtual Courseware is set within the Immersive Virtual Shipboard Environment (IVSE) and trainees perform tasks in a realistic multi-user environment.

The LCS Immersive Courseware Simulator is a cost-effective solution allowing trainees to function within complex systems at a fraction of the cost, the company announced today.

The company will also demonstrate other military training technologies that include the US Navy’s LCS tactile training program, LCS Mission Bay Trainer. It highlights hands-on interaction for more effective training. Trainees use identical replicas of equipment and controls to perform required tasks in a highly immersive gaming environment.

Another training technology that will be displayed is EST3000. It is a small arms marksmanship training device that is portable, indoor, multipurpose and multilane. EST 3000 replicates crew and individual live fire exercises for increased safety, cost effectiveness and efficiency. Further, it integrates with Cubic’s NeuroBridge technology for accurate feedback and assessment.

The display also includes Initial Homestation Instrumentation Training System (I-HITS). It provides high-fidelity, scalable CTC training capabilities for any mission, including force-on-force, urban operations, joint and multinational training.

From mission planning and rehearsal to objective assessments, the I-HITS delivers turnkey Combat Training Center (CTC) capabilities at homestations, mobilization stations and forward-deployed operational sites.
