The U.S. Army has awarded the Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) a fiscal year 2025 production contract for Javelin missiles and associated equipment valued at up to $900.5 million.

The deal, announced as a follow-on to the first one awarded in May 2023, includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Brazil and Tunisia. This marks the first time Javelin systems will be deployed by a South American and a North African nation, respectively.

The contract also covers FMS orders from Estonia, Bulgaria, and Australia.

JJV, a partnership between Raytheon and Lockheed Martin has produced more than 55,000 Javelin missiles and over 12,000 reusable Command Launch Units to date. New tooling and test equipment introduced earlier this year aim to boost production efficiency to support expanded output.
