Russian United Shipbuilding Corporation Employees Arrested on Corruption Charges

An unknown number of employees of Russia’s naval shipbuilder, the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) have been arrested by Federal Security Service (FSS) on corruption charges.

A USC statement said yesterday “the United Shipbuilding Corporation continued systematic implementation of a program to combat corruption. July 21, 2015 the Federal Security Service of Russia in cooperation with the corporation took measures to arrest a number of employees of USC and companies belonging to the corporation. In the workplace, employee data raided the purpose of removal of documents and materials, proving unlawful activity.”
