Serco Awarded Extension On US Navy C4ISR Modernization Contract

The US Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) has awarded Serco a three-year extension on their indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) Global Installation Contract.

Serco will continue to support the Navy with the installation and testing of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Utilizing this extension, the Company will compete for tasks under the $1.4 billion contract ceiling.

Serco delivers services in the areas of program management, engineering design, and installation support services at shore facilities and on surface ships, submarines, and other Navy and DOD platforms. The work will continue to be performed on the east and west coasts, and additional locations worldwide. In the first five years of the contract, Serco was awarded approximately 250 task orders, valued at almost $300 million.
