Insitu To Provide Six Blackjack Unmanned Aerial Systems To US Navy For $71 Million
RQ-21A Small Tactical Unmanned Air System

Insitu has won a $71 million contract for six low-rate initial production Lot V RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aircraft systems for the US Navy.

This contract provides for the procurement of the air vehicles, ground control stations, launch and recovery equipment, shipboard equipment kits, and systems engineering and program management, the US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Work is expected to be completed in October 2017.
