The United States sanctions against "150th Aviation Repair Plant" will inflict no loss on this joint-stock company, Alexander Mikheyev, General Director of Russian Helicopters, the holding company, said on Monday.

"In view of the unexpected introduction of sanctions against one of our enterprises, we have to acknowledge with regret that the sanctions always have a negative effect on international cooperation and tear up technological chains that took years to create," he said.

"However, our 150 Aircraft Repair Plant is carrying out its activity in accordance with the economic policy of the Russian Helicopters holding. In view of this, the sanctions inflict no losses on the plant's activity," Mikheyev said, the company spokesperson told Interfax.

"The Russian Helicopters holding remains open to any international cooperation and partnership. We continue fulfilling all our contractual obligations with our foreign partners and customers," the general director said.

On July 1 the U.S. State Department extended its sanctions list of Russian companies by adding 150 Aircraft Repair Plant of the Russian Helicopters holding company (part of the Rostec state corporation).

The plant conducts essential repairs for Mil and Kamov helicopters such as Mi-8/17, Mi-14, Mi-24/35, Ka-27/32 and Ka-29/31, engines, auxiliary power units, and accessories.
