Israeli defense electronics' Elbit Systems' US subsidiary has won a $50 million contract from the US Navy to provide the Helmet Display and Tracker System (HDTS) for the MH-60S fleet of helicopters.
"Elbit Systems of America LLC.has been awarded a contract for approximately $50 million by the US Navy to provide the HDTS with the Continuously Computed Impact Point (CCIP) algorithm, for the MH-60S helicopter," the company announced in a statement Sunday.
The work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed by June 2021.
The contract is for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity and an initial order of $14.2 million was received.
