General Electric to Overhaul US Army T700 Turbine Engine Depot for $380 Million

General Electric has won $380 million contract to provide technical, engineering, logistical services and supplies to support Corpus Christi Army Depot overhaul, recapitalization, conversion, and repair activities for the T700 turbine engine, modules, and identified components.

Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2022, US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.

U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
