Boeing, Raytheon Win Contracts for P-8A Maritime Surveillance Aircraft Support Effort

Boeing and Raytheon have been awarded two United States (US) Navy contracts, worth $16.4 million combined, for P-8A maritime surveillance aircraft support effort, the US Department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Boeing has won $9.2 million modification contract to provide Air Launch Accessory (ALA) and ALA shipping container for the ALA of the High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare Weapon Capability (HAAWC) in support of the P-8A integration. Work is expected to be completed by May 2020.

Raytheon has won the $7.1 million contract for the repair of the APY-10 radar system used in support of the P-8A aircraft. Work is expected to be completed by January 2021.
