Abu Dhabi Ship Building, Leonardo to Jointly Develop Combat Management System Integration Laboratory

Abu Dhabi Ship Building and Leonardo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to  jointly create a Combat Management System (CMS) Integration Laboratory at IDEX-2019 being held at Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The CMS Laboratory will be capable of testing, maintaining and evolving the software of Leonardo’s CMS system operational in over 20 UAE Navy’s ships, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

The new MoU includes development of a joint logistic support solution for preventive and corrective maintenance and a local spare parts inventory for Leonardo naval systems, and  technology and knowledge transfer to the UAE.
