HAL's Exclusive Helicopter Manufacturing Facility Gathers Pace

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) new helicopter manufacturing facility set up at south Indian district of Tumakuru has gained momentum after the company signed an MoU with Central Public Works Department (CPWD) at Aero India 2019.

The memorandum was signed between the companies for the execution of the stage 2 works of Infrastructure development works at HAL’s Green Field Helicopter factory, the company said in a statement Friday.

The stage 2 works include development of infrastructure for structural assembly and equipping of helicopters. The project will be executed in a phased manner.
