Pentagon Contract Announcement

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded an cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with an estimated value of $905,344,762 for support services required to enhance the F/A-18A/B, C/D, E/F, and EA-18G aircraft with a series of System Configuration Sets (SCSs).>> These enhancements will support F/A-18 aircraft operated by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the Governments of Canada, Australia, Spain, Kuwait, Switzerland, Finland and Malaysia.>> Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (95 percent) and at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in Dec. 2013.
